World Cleanup Day
World Cleanup Day is a global movement dedicated to addressing the escalating waste crisis that affects communities and ecosystems worldwide. This year's campaign slogan, "Make Room for Life!", emphasizes the critical need to fight against the increasing amounts of waste and the contamination from materials that pollute our environment, endangering both wildlife and human health.
On September 22, 2024, we hosted another plogging event near Sunae Station in Bundang, joined by enthusiastic students from KIS. In just an hour and a half, we collected 8.34 kilograms of waste, making a positive impact on the environment.
In addition, we gathered gently used children's books to share with the elementary school students. It is a great way to help the environment - reusing books means few trees cut down and less waste overall.
We look forward to hosting this event again next year, and we would love for you to join us, so keep an eye out for more details!

We also plogged with the KIS Cross Country team and the running paths are now much cleaner.
